Kelvin has been in the sports industry since graduating from the University of KwaZulu Natal in 1992. His diverse experience in sponsorship and broadcast rights sales, sponsorship strategy and activation, broadcast production, PR and Comms, corporate hospitality and research and insight has been gathered over a 27 year career.
Kelvin spent the first 8 years of his career at MegaPro Marketing, South Africa’s preminent sports marketing group before embarking on building his own group of businesses under the TransAfrica Media banner which included Frontiers Sport and Entertainment, Kaelo Engage, Nielsen Sports Africa (under license), Sportsworld SA (under license) and Sports Industry Group Africa (under license) and Mazoe Productions.
After a 17 year entrepreneurial journey he sold Nielsen Sports Africa to Nielsen in late 2017 and joined Nielsen to pursue his first love of data, analytics and the power that real insight and intelligence brings to the sports and entertainment industries.
