You will be responsible for revenue growth of Nielsen’s portfolio of Media Measurement Solutions which are continuously adapted for the evolving platforms and technologies in the media marketing space.” – Will Sharp, Senior Business Development Manager

 

What You’ll Do

 

 

  • Driving revenue growth of Nielsen’s portfolio among new advertisers and existing media agency clients within the UK.
  • Identify a focus area to have as your own ‘patch’ i.e. Alcohol Advertisers
  • Organise, plan and forecast opportunities in Salesforce CRM.
  • Manage your pipeline across your accounts, with a strategy for growth and tactics across the different measurement solutions to achieve your annual target
  • Finding new opportunities across clients, in collaboration with internal specialist teams.
  • Work closely with clients, conducting regular meetings and check-ins in order to drive client engagement across different Nielsen solutions.
  • Maintain knowledge of the Nielsen Solutions, which adapt with the changing media technologies

 

What You’ll Be

 

 

  • 2-3 years experience in Sales and working towards annual revenue targets
  • A genuine passion and curiosity for research, with an understanding of how data works.
  • Inquisitive to expand your knowledge of the client business to identify relevant Nielsen solutions
  • Ability to tell a story both on the digital landscape and with data.
  • Self-motivated to upskill on any new solutions in the business independently.
  • An ability to learn and try new ways of working to improve both your own and the wider team’s way of selling
  • Collaborative with key internal stakeholders such as Client Service Teams, Technical Teams, and Research Teams to support your clients.
  • Contributing ideas for growth to Senior Leadership
  • Knowledgeable about the Advertising and Media industry, an advantage

 

Nielsen Media Business Development Team

Nielsen Media’s business development team is the heart of the commercial team and responsible for driving an ambitious global growth strategy. Working alongside the other commercial departments – Publisher and Social Team, Growth Team and Media Analytics, Business Development are tasked with winning new Advertiser/Brand clients and driving new business across the UK’s largest agencies. This role presents the opportunity to collaborate with some of the UK’s leading brands and will see the successful candidate speak with research and insights personnel, brand managers and media teams. When working with agencies key stakeholders are Account Leads/Directors, Account Managers and the in-house agency research teams.

You will be joining a fast-growing Business Development team, working collaboratively with uncapped commissions.
