The Nielsen Media Analytics team is our innovation hub. We are tasked with answering client measurement questions in new and innovative ways, creating new products and services that address industry gaps. Our goal is to keep Nielsen Media at the cutting edge of industry measurement needs and challenges.


Media Analytics is a cross functional team who create compelling stories for its clients, providing actionable insights and recommendations. We work with the biggest names in the media industry, and are looking for someone who is curious, has a good understanding of the media landscape and a passion for measurement. 


This is a hybrid role, the ideal candidate will be someone who is commercially savvy, yet comfortable working with and interpreting research techniques and methodologies to clients. 


We are a small, but passionate team who enjoy collaborating in a dynamic environment. We work with the most exciting brands and companies the media industry has to offer!




  • Working with new and existing methodologies to answer key business questions for Advertisers, Media Agency and Publisher/Platform clients.

  • A consultative selling approach to develop long term client relationships

  • Achieving annual financial targets

  • Collaborating with commercial, research and product teams

  • Owning a brief from idea creation to client delivery

  • Presenting to senior stakeholders, both internally and externally

  • Supporting go to market strategies on new Nielsen products




  • Minimum of 5+ years working within the media, advertising, measurement or agency space

  • A good understanding of various research techniques

  • Good knowledge and understanding of the UK media landscape 

  • Ability to prioritise and manage tight project deadlines

  • Good at building relationships, both internally and externally

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Comfortable presenting to a wide range of audiences

  • Adept to working in a cross functional team
