Our Solutions Engineers sit within the Nielsen Marketing Cloud  team and are a critical part of the organization. We get customers up and running on our platform quickly, design new features, build tools to manage our products more efficiently, and sit at the forefront of ideation. This role is part operations, part product, and part development. So if you’re looking to use your technical skills to solve problems and shape the big picture, this might be the role for you.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

 

As a Solution Engineer you will work with R&D and Product teams to define features.

You’ll provide technical support and account management in conjunction with Commercial supporting  client relationships and building specs.

You’ll  be involved in Pre-sales and Post-Sales tech customised  integration

Work with clients and partners to implement and maintain integrations.
Work with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and define, test, and roll out new features to our platform.
Work closely with the product team to improve customer success across our platform.
Develop and maintain internal tools to monitor core processes.
Develop and maintain dashboards that provide visibility into platform usage.
Independently create new data ingestion and delivery pipeline.
Troubleshoots system errors and escalates internally within the team or directly to RnD.
 
WHAT SKILLS & EXPERIENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

2-4 years of experience in a technical or similar role.
Love for explaining technical concepts.
Familiarity with SQL and database concepts.
Familiar with cloud concepts.

Technical Experience with 2 or more of the following:
 
Data Analysis
Data visualization
API design and/or management
One or more scripting languages (Ideally Python, JavaScript, or Bash)
Linux/Unix Servers, AWS, or GCP

Desirable Skills..nice to have 

Understanding of advertising technology, associated ecosystem, and common processes (e.g. server-to-server integrations, real-time bidding, cookie sync)
Experience working with DSPs, SSPs, Onboarders.
Experience working with OTT.
Knowledge of Privacy regulation like CCPA/GDPR.
Knowledge of 1st & 3rd party cookie tracking.
Keep track of latest industry evolution trends.
