Role overview
All we do is deeply rooted and related to technology, and the use of this in whichever capacity to deliver client solutions, – whether Data Science related, or the myriad of technologies and solutions (many of which proprietary) to Nielsen Media we apply to make each and every part of our various business units work, efficiently and effectively.

The Technological Cross Solution Facilitation/Enablement role holder is responsible for end-to-end coordination of large scale, global technological and operational deployments.  This role serves as the liaison between the stakeholders, end-users, subject matter experts, and development teams to ensure on time and on budget delivery meeting the vision of the product and reporting up through executive leadership.
His/Hers primary responsibility to gather, analyze, document, and validate the needs of the business stakeholders. Serves as the principal conduit for managing system requirements between the business and the software development team throughout the duration of a project. This role serves as the liaison between the stakeholders, end-users, subject matter experts, and development teams to ensure on time and on budget delivery, meeting the product vision.

  

Role require someone with ability to be present at our Warsaw address (Stanisława Przybyszewskiego 47, 01-849) for a minmum of 3 days/week.

Position is full time, permanent employment 

 

Responsibilities/daily tasks
⦁    Gathering product requirements from various stakeholders, elicit business requirements from business users and subject matter experts.
⦁    Define and document requirements; Write functional specifications; Generating User Stories, Acceptance Criteria.
⦁    Strategic and functional prioritization of Product Backlog to meet business needs. Analyze and prioritize requirements.
⦁    Ensuring  global collaboration of Product, Data Science, Operations, Technology, Infrastructure.
⦁    Design and implement the best strategy to deploy and/or migrate the tool.
⦁    Balancing both business and technical acumen.
⦁    Communication of  progress of all development programs.

 

Required and Desired Qualifications/Abilities 
⦁    Individual with more than 5 years of experience gathering requirements, and communicating with stakeholders, ideally in a technical/technological capacity.  
⦁    English language skills – high level of both written and verbal skill, as well as a strong command of spoken and written Polish. 
⦁    Ready to use and learn modern software development tools and concepts.
⦁    High attention to details: ability to pay attention to the detail and ensure the quality of the output
⦁    Strong Results Oriented: reliable upon meeting goals, targets and daily tasks within required timeframes, providing high quality results and services exceeding the requirements of internal and/or external clients. Ability to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance
⦁    Ideally strong Agile experience, managing scrum calls, prioritizing backlog, etc.
⦁    Ideally experience with Project Management Software (we are using JIRA)
⦁    Ideally prior experience in Design Sprints participation and Design Thinking practices would be a plus
⦁   Change agent – does not accept the status quo.  Constantly identifies opportunities to improve by thinking in new, unconventional ways
⦁    Solid understanding of business drivers and ability to translate requirements between business and technical stakeholders
⦁    Outstanding analytical and planning skills (Problem solving): To be able to identify problems and to generate timely solutions by thinking creatively and developing strategies to achieve business goals
⦁    Efficient in working in geographically dispersed team
