Nielsen Intelligent Analytics (iA) helps our clients develop stronger and smarter sales strategies by delighting shoppers and optimizing price, promotion, assortment, and shelf. With purchase decisions being made in-store, it is imperative for brands to have distribution and sales strategies that maximize their store presence and optimize their retail investments.

The Delivery Consultant has an appreciation of Nielsen solutions, leading the delivery of service to the relevant clients making sure of the quality of data insights that we share with clients, by proposing optimal analytical solutions with actionable business insights, based on a deep understanding of client needs and robust analytical expertise across various Nielsen solutions

Turn complexity into simplicity and show clients how to optimise their trade spend. We’re looking for a mid-level delivery consultant to work with our Price & Promotions team in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

He/she is responsible for listening to, discovering and understanding client needs to identify analytical approaches/ solutions by leveraging Nielsen’s unique value proposition. He/she is expected to proactively build valuable client relationships and support the growth of the business.



Client Management

  • Address client business needs, diagnosing business issues and agreeing solutions that fully support clients’ objectives in order to deliver high growth for the Nielsen iA business while meeting the company's quality standards

  • Liaise with other delivery consultants as well as other internal stakeholders (Eg. Sales, Client Service) to ensure alignment on strategies and message for each client

  • Ensure all client projects deliver high value to clients with a demonstrated return on investment

  • Build and maintain ongoing relationships with the identified key persons within the client organization

  • Assist in ensuring adherence to the approved company policies on business conduct/ethics when servicing clients


Project Management

  • Manage assigned Price & Promotion client analytics projects to ensure that they are delivered on time, with regular communication, and actionable insights and recommendations

  • Perform quantitative analysis utilising superior attention to detail when reporting research findings

  • Demonstrate strong stakeholder management and project management skills

  • Simplify complex outputs into actionable, understandable outcomes for clients

  • Partner with internal sales channels to support revenue growth

  • Work across functional business units to support organizational initiatives and business needs

  • Recommend improvements in work processes within area of responsibility

This role does not have any people management responsibilities at present, but this may become an opportunity for the development of the successful candidate in the future.



You will lead the delivery of client pricing & promotion analytics projects. You are a consultative, client facing individual with some experience managing complex projects and using your brain to solve problems. Ideally you have some experience working with analytic consulting and specifically pricing/ranging modelling, or a similar field. You’ll be able to communicate complexity in a simple way and have relevant qualifications to back it up. Part of this role may also include working with our sales team in generating new business leads.

Importantly though you are a team player, a fast learner, and can stand on your own two feet when managing projects and advising clients on how and why analytics can help improve the way they spend their trade budget.

This role may suit either someone who is adept at how to apply econometric modelling to solve real-world trade problems, or an effective project/client manager with a strong understanding of analytics.



  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Market Research, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Intelligence or any related field. 

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a related field (client management in research agency, market consulting, data/ insight analytics) 

  • Preferably working experience in CPG, FMCG domain. 

  • At least 1 year experience in client management; Business leaders preferential for clients

  • Ideally some experience working with analytical research techniques, such as regression modelling, or a related / comparable field

  • Experience in deriving insights and reflecting policies through market research data and research data analysis

  • A broad understanding of client engagement, trade and marketing issues

  • An understanding of the developed Asia (Hong Kong, Taiwan) grocery landscape

  • Knowledge of statistical applications and systems as well as Microsoft Office applications and Google tools

  • Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English; both written and verbal is a must

  • Excellent communication skills and presentation skills
