RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Issue technical instructions to Internal Engineering teams
  • Establish relationships with Content Providers in the media industry market space
  • Handle Editorial Support Cases
  • Handle Customer Support Cases
  • Source & Acquire schedules and metadata for Content Video teams
  • Conduct Market Analysis
  • Improve Quality of Inbound data feeds
  • Maintain the existing ingest process to ensure it works smoothly (fix errors, improve parsers)
  • Identify areas for improvements in the current data ingest infrastructure
  • Communicate market trends, challenges and improvements to Editorial teams and Content Providers
  • Ad Hoc Project work

 

QUALIFICATION & DESIRED SKILLS: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, IT
  • You are very process driven and can handle workflows across various systems
  • Must have impeccable writing and verbal skills in English
  • Effective organizational, grammatical, analytical, spelling, writing and communication skills
  • We are looking for a quality focused individual with high level of attention to detail
  • Must be able and willing to work outside regular business hours if required
  • Windows proficiency and / or experience using other computer software and databases
  • Strong technical understanding preferable

 

ABOUT THE TEAM:

As a member of this dynamic and fast-paced team, you will be involved in editorial, administrative and analytical functions related to the ongoing development and creation of media databases and content, specifically in the audiovisual sphere. You will also be responsible for securing text and image data related to TV Series, Movies and Sports airing on TV or video-on-demand and which will in turn enable various Content Video teams to perform complex manipulations on the entertainment information that forms the core of Gracenote’s media database.
