Data Partnerships Assistant Manager – 100667

Location: Los Angeles, CA / Queensbury, NY

 

We are presently looking for a Data Partnerships Assistant Manager to join our Content and Data Partnerships team. This individual will be responsible for establishing partnerships with television broadcasters and content creators to acquire metadata to power Gracenote database and products.

In addition to strong communication skills, the ideal candidate will be a critical thinker who has strong attention to detail, an ability to navigate multiple priorities, and experience collaborating across various functions to ensure project success. They must have the ability to clearly and concisely communicate thoughts and ideas, both written and verbally, and think outside of their direct sphere of responsibility.

 

The Data Partnerships Assistant Manager will establish and maintain relationships with broadcasters in the North American market.

The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail, be self-motivated and have the ability to work effectively in a changing and growing environment with multiple priorities.

In this role you will:

 

  • Lead North American partnership activities to support Gracenote products

  • Establish and maintain relationships with Tier 1 sources (broadcasters/agencies/production companies)

  • Source information during all phases of the TV development cycle, gathering data on TV projects from development through production and airing 

  • Document source engagement, outreach and conversion

  • Create presentation materials

  • Work with colleagues across content horizontals and within other offices on new requests

  • Research and respond to escalated source inquiries

  • Represent Content at source meetings and industry events

 

 

For this role we are looking for individuals with:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or a minimum of five years’ relevant work experience.

  • A strong understanding of the TV industry, including the TV development cycle, and what metadata is needed at each stage of development

  • Established contacts at major broadcasters/networks, studios, agencies and production companies.

  • Strong networking skills

  • Effective organizational, analytical, research and communication (verbal and written) skills

  • Good judgment and interpersonal skills. 

  • Strong attention to detail and possess the ability to multitask 

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally

  • Ability to communicate effectively and transparently with multiple levels of seniority

  • Detail-oriented, reliable and accountable

  • Good knowledge of Google Mail/Doc/Sheets/Slides

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Ability to travel to industry events/meetings

  • Ability to participate in calls outside of regular business hours
