Nielsen’s Field Recruiter is responsible for managing a heavy requisition load for our Field Rep staff, where core duties involve visiting prospective households, educating and recruiting them to participate in the Nielsen TV ratings. The Recruiter must be able to influence both candidates and hiring managers while delivering results and sourcing for multiple markets. The right person must be able to manage relationships with multiple hiring managers, be a strategic partner and creatively source qualified candidates through a wide variety of channels. The right person will have a hunter mentality and a consultative approach in meeting the headcount requirements for our business.
Our Talent Acquisition Team is a high energy, high volume team that provides quality talent to our Operations team. It requires a highly organized individual with a sense of urgency to the business needs that can adapt and flex quickly. Develop a talent pipeline through sourcing and networking within respective markets
Utilize a wide variety of talent generation sources, including but not limited to: Social Media Recruiting, Internet Job Boards, and company proprietary databases
Research and source qualified candidates in historical and target markets.
Screen candidate resumes for baseline qualifications such as availability, compensation and other unique requirements
Perform initial screenings to qualify candidates
Engage prospective candidate interest the Nielsen Brand
Submit qualified candidates to the hiring manager
Arranging interviews and manage candidate correspondence
Must have sourcing certification
2 years of experience in a staffing or high volume talent hunting environment
High School Diploma
Experience using a web based Applicant Tracking System
Knowledge of strategic talent acquisition methodology utilizing social media (LinkedIn Recruiter & Facebook preferred)
Proficient in MS Office Products (Excel, Outlook and Word)
Must be Internet savvy and experienced in mining online database
Must have the ability to quickly learn new systems, processes and procedures
Able to adapt to competing time sensitive demand
