Research Executive – Audience Insights, Local Analysis
This Research Executive role will wear a variety of hats to support the Local Analysis team within Audience Insights.
What will I do?
Updating, troubleshooting, and maintaining a vast Spotfire dashboard library that trends Nielsen data for internal use across key business areas, including Data Science, Product Leadership and Client Service
Support and aid in the production of insights and analyses for clients, client service, and product leaders surrounding trends in the evolving media landscape as well as changes in measurement methodologies.
Responsibilities will also include collaborating with associates across the broader Audience Insights team, as well as Communications and Product Leadership to ideate and build compelling content for thought leadership whitepapers and presentations. Will work closely with National and Local Client Service teams to provide a professional, clear response to client inquiries related to Nielsen data.
Is this for me?
Strong media research fundamentals and experience in Nielsen reports, softwares (Npower, NNTV, NLTV, Arianna, Ad Intel, Scarborough), methodologies, and computations needed
Strong knowledge of dashboarding tools, particularly Spotfire, both from the maintenance of existing dashboards (updating, troubleshooting) and creation of new ones.
Project Management: This position will require you to manage your time across a variety of different projects, often occurring simultaneously.
Strong Written and Verbal Skills: The candidate will be responsible for compiling analysis from data generated by the team and presenting to stakeholders (both internal and external).
Strong math and logic skills: Ability to turn numbers into stories our clients can understand and respond to; ability to interpret data into actionable insights, provide ideas on feasibility and explore automated solutions.
Strong Computer skills: Comfort with MS Office and Google tools to summarize data in compelling charts and tables. Proficiency in excel formulas, pivot tables, linking datasets preferred.
Fine attention to detail: quality and accuracy in your work is essential
5+ years of industry experience desired.
Coding/Statistical knowledge is a plus
