VP, Confidential Compute Engineering

 

Nielsen Media is recruiting for a Senior Confidential Compute Engineer position to help take its blossoming Data Partnership engagements to the next level. The Senior Confidential Compute Engineer is responsible for architecting, implementing and rolling out solutions allowing Nielsen to safely share its data with other parties in a variety of environments, some hostile and some neutral, without compromising the privacy of its data or unreasonably restricting the type of computing that can be achieved over the Nielsen and 3rd party data.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned hands-on senior Engineer to participate in the definition of the product itself and see the product taken all the way to production.

The VP, Confidential Compute Engineering position is a very senior position within the Nielsen Media organization. It touches upon critical aspects of the business:
Data Privacy, the cornerstone of our business 
Digital Contracts
Multi Party Computing
Clean Room implementation
Proof-carrying code
Tamper-free design

Requirements

  • The ideal Senior Confidential Compute Engineer would meet the following requirements:
  • A degree in a quantitative field or proof of work in a highly quantitative field
  • Practical knowledge of Cryptography techniques
  • Advanced programming skills in any of the following: Java, Scala, Python, Go, C, C++
  • Understanding of network security protocols, key exchange mechanisms and certificates
  • Prior exposure to frameworks such as MPC, Differential Privacy and/or TPM
  • A desire to remain deeply involved with the implementation aspect of the project

  • Scanning techniques
