Primetime Broadcast Ratings, October 1, 2008
CBS’s “CSI:NY” and “Criminal Minds” were the number one- and number two-ranked primetime telecasts on broadcast TV for Wednesday, October 1, 2008.
NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” rounded out the top three.
Three ABC premieres also made the top ten: “Private Practice,” “Dirty Sexy Money,” and “Pushing Daisies.”

Overall, CBS won the night with an average audience of almost 12.2 million viewers, while NBC took second place with almost 8.6 million average viewers. ABC and FOX claimed third and fourth places with roughly 7.2 million and 7 million average viewers, respectively. Univision and the CW followed in fifth and sixth places with average audiences of roughly 4.4 million and 2.8 million viewers, respectively.
