NielsenIQ is searching for a passionate and ambitious Survey Specialist on its Consumer Intelligence team. You will play a transformational role on the Survey business, engaging with leading Manufacturing and Retail clients in Fast Moving Consumer Goods.
As a Survey Specialist, you will develop thoughtful research and deliver impactful insights for multiple clients that explains the “why” behind the buy. This includes generating proposals, designing intelligent questionnaires, and delivering actionable results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Acts as a trusted advisor to drive business results through consultative selling and pursue new survey business from existing and potential clients.
Manages multiple clients and their respective survey projects simultaneously from beginning to end of the project lifecycle.
Collaborates with senior team leaders on strategic business initiatives for surveys (new products/solutions, sales strategy, client advancement, etc.).
Leads the development of captivating proposals, thoughtful questionnaires and complete analytical reports including other Nielsen assets where relevant.
Uses ‘storytelling’ techniques to develop full analytical reports, drawing strategic conclusions and building actionable recommendations to support client business objectives.
Oversees the design and fielding of complex custom surveys with junior staff to ensure the highest quality output.
Manages and mentors junior staff on various quantitative research projects.

Bachelor's Degree Required
4-5 years’ experience in survey research, preferably in FMCG
Previous experience working in the areas of consumer panel and/or consumer research preferred
Strong understanding of quantitative survey research principles and methodologies
Awareness of consumer decision making and FMCG client business environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Proficient with statistical software packages such as SPSS a plus
Familiarity with Nielsen tools, applications and platforms a plus
